Having grown up in an artistic family, I have always been drawn towards design and the arts. However, it took a degree in sustainability and a several years of working as a cook to realise that graphic design was the career for me.
I like to experiment with non-digital printing techniques and incorporate handmade elements in my work, with a focus on typography and print design. I love to create designs that are vibrant, surprising and a little left of center. Interning at Chil3 this year has opened my eyes to the wonderful world of typography. Having Becky Chilcott as my mentor has sharpened and improved my designs skills and made me excited for my future as a graphic designer.
I hope to further develop these skills in a graphic design studio next year, where I can learn and be inspired from an experienced Art Director and put all my energy into creating great work.
